- Student Participation Data, including join codes used, session enrollment, live and self-paced progress, text responses, audio recordings, transcriptions, drawings, annotations, discussion posts, quiz answers, poll responses, matching and drag-and-drop activity, flashcard activity, AI feedback, session summaries, and reports.
- AI Interaction Data, including prompts, source lesson content, model requests, generated slide drafts, generated quiz questions, generated flashcards, feedback, hints, summaries, and related usage metadata.
- Device and Technical Data, including browser type, operating system, device identifiers, IP address, network information, cookie identifiers, and error logs.
- Communication Data, including customer support messages, accessibility requests, feedback, and other correspondence with us.
2. Information You Must Not Submit
The Service is designed for classroom instruction, language learning, student participation, and educator-created lesson materials. You must not upload, store, transmit, or ask the Service to process private student records, government identifiers, financial account numbers, biometric data, medical information, highly sensitive personal data, copyrighted materials you are not authorized to use, or information that you are not authorized to share.
If you use the Service through a school, institution, or organization, you are responsible for following that institution's privacy, security, and student conduct rules.
3. How We Use Information

- Create, authenticate, maintain, and secure user accounts.
- Provide courses, decks, slides, live sessions, self-paced sessions, join-code access, student participation workflows, instructor dashboards, uploads, flashcards, reports, and AI-assisted feedback.
- Process audio recordings, uploaded media, responses, and lesson materials so the requested classroom features work.
- Generate AI-assisted slide drafts, quiz questions, flashcards, feedback, hints, transcriptions, and session summaries.
- Improve user experience, platform reliability, accessibility, and performance.
- Analyze aggregate educational patterns and product usage.
- Develop new features, educational modules, and support resources.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and violations of our policies.
- Communicate with you about your account, security issues, support requests, product updates, and legal notices.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations.
4. AI and Third-Party Processing
Slixy may integrate with external technologies, including OpenAI API services for AI-assisted feedback, transcription, slide generation, quiz generation, flashcard generation, hints, and summaries, Ably for live classroom updates, Cloudflare R2 or another S3-compatible storage provider for uploaded files and recordings, Resend or another email provider for account emails, YouTube Data API for instructor video search, SerpApi for instructor image search, hosting and database providers for application infrastructure, and other service providers necessary to operate the Service.
By using Slixy, you consent to having your inputs, prompts, uploads, recordings, usage data, educational activity, search queries, selected media references, and technical information transmitted to and processed by these third-party services where necessary to provide the Service. Slixy is not responsible for the data policies, availability, or output reliability of third-party services.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, tokens, analytics scripts, and browser-based tracking tools to authenticate users, manage sessions, remember preferences, collect usage metrics, improve functionality, measure reliability, and protect the Service from abuse.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may be limited or unavailable if cookies are disabled.
6. How We Share Information
We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate, host, secure, analyze, improve, and support the Service.
- Schools, instructors, administrators, or institutions associated with your account, where the Service is provided through an educational or organizational setting.

7. Institutional and Classroom Analytics
Where the Service is accessed through a school, language program, tutoring program, company, or academic institution, that institution may receive limited analytics, reports, rosters, participation data, or anonymized usage information for educational monitoring, classroom support, compliance, or administrative purposes.
The institution is responsible for obtaining any required student, parent, faculty, staff, or participant consents and for complying with laws that apply to its use of the Service.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These safeguards may include encryption, access controls, logging, secure development practices, and vendor review.

Anonymized, aggregated, and de-identified interactions with the Service may be used to evaluate and improve Slixy features, prompts, AI-assisted workflows, educational content, classroom tools, reliability, and product quality.
We do not intentionally use personally identifiable student content to train public AI models without explicit opt-in or another lawful basis. Third-party AI providers may process inputs and outputs as service providers to generate the features you request.
11. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. These jurisdictions may have privacy laws that differ from those in your location.
Where required, we use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information transferred across borders.
12. User Rights
